Apply for an allotment
All applications for an allotment must be submitted online using the form below, after which you will be added to the waiting list. Please make sure to notify us of any changes to your contact information, as failing to do so could result in losing your place on the list.
Before applying, it is important to think about how you would realistically fit an allotment into your routine. Allotments need regular visits. It is recommended to visit at least three times a week to keep on top of the weeding and in hot weather, you might need to water your crops every day. We recommend that a half plot in good condition will require at least eight hours per week to maintain and could require more depending on what you grow.
All plots are inspected regularly by the Committee to ensure they are maintained to the required standard. If a plot is not being adequately maintained, the plot holder will be issued with a Dirty Plot Notice (DPN) and the plot will be subject to further inspections. Failure to address the issues identified in the notice may result in a Notice to Quit, leading to the termination of the tenancy.
All plots are currently taken and there is a waiting list for new tenants.
